Project Overview
Goals
Build Social Media Presence to expand business to germany and gain new customers.
Platforms: Youtube & LinkedIn
Preconditions
Existing customers in switzerland but in germany practically unknown. No clear Social-Media-Strategy in existance. Challenges: We had to create an entirely new blueprint for the company, as they had little to no prior experience in the field of social media. This required a significant investment of time in labeling and building the foundational framework.
Strategy
The focus was on high-quality podcasts in the fields of finance and politics, as there is significant demand for expert knowledge in these areas and a considerable level of ignorance persists. The idea was to speak plainly and clearly about finances, which is why the name "Klartext Finanzen" ("Straight Talk Finance") was chosen. The core target group consists of middle class, on average over 40 years old, living in Germany and are ready to take their problems into their own hands. Beyond acquiring new customers, the team placed great importance on building RealUnit as a brand associated with Swiss democracy, neutrality, and honesty. Paid ads were completely avoided.
Implementation
Content-Production: Podcasts with interesting and established personalities. In addition to that analytical deepdive videos, in which topics are dissected by an expert. Starting in december 2024 we kicked off the short video production, which consist of podcast highlights. We uploaded podcasts and deepdives weekly and starting in december 2024 short videos bi-weekly - this resulted in high activity and effective building of an active viewership. The Avenir GC Team worked together with RealUnit Schweiz AG very closely and no external parties were involved.
Tools
For analysis we used both public programs like "Social Blade" and internal analysis tools which are based on more tailored algorithms. For production mostly Adobe programs were used (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop).
The Results
Reach
A total of 8,700,000 impressions were achieved on YouTube alone, with the number continuing to grow daily.
Over 10,000 new followers have been gained across all platforms combined.
Engagement
The videos have a very high engagement rate, as many viewers are encouraged to subscribe to the channel, like the videos, and share their opinions in the comments.
Conversion Rate
The number of newsletter subscribers has increased by 660%, and the number of investors has grown exponentially, which can be attributed to the newly generated reach.
The project's current ROI ratio is 1:5, meaning five times the amount invested has been earned back.
Notable Results
Several videos have caused significant waves both nationally and internationally, going viral.
